About Kentucky Gateway Museum Center
The Kentucky Gateway Museum Center is the oldest Kentucky state-chartered historical organization in continuous existence, collecting and preserving the story of Kentucky and the Ohio River Valley since 1878. It features dynamic collections, engaging exhibits, a comprehensive genealogical and historical research library, and the world-renowned KSB Miniature Collection. Visitors can view over fifty historic portraits, including works by Matthew Harris Jouett, and explore artifacts representing national and regional history in the America 250 exhibit.
