About Old Depot Museum
The Old Depot Museum is a two-story museum located in a limestone building originally constructed in 1888 as a Southern Kansas Railway Company depot. It features exhibits on Native American tribes, local industry, and historic daily life, including a general store, Victorian parlor, and an HO-scale model railroad layout. Visitors can also explore a 1940s caboose outside and a large first-floor gallery for temporary exhibits. The museum also serves as the northernmost trailhead for the Prairie Spirit Trail.
