About Roniger Memorial Museum
Hours: 1pm to 5pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Admission is free, but donations are appreciated! Located a short distance southwest of the Chase County Courthouse in Cottonwood Falls, this museum was built and gifted to the county by George and Frank Roniger as a memorial to their mother Elizabeth. It was formally accepted by the Chase County Commission in December 1959 and opened to the public in August 1960. The museum showcases the Roniger brothers’ impressive collection of high quality Native American artifacts found over the years on their farm near Bazaar, Kansas, and their collection of arrowheads is considered one of the largest individual collections in Kansas.
