About Dunkirk Glass Museum
The Dunkirk Glass Museum, governed by the Dunkirk Public Library Board of Trustees, was dedicated in 1981 after starting as a Lions Club exhibit. It showcases over 20,000 pieces of glassware from 110 factories worldwide, including local Indiana Glass items, leaded lamps, and windows. Visitors can also view pressed glass-making tools, a leaded glass mural, and diverse glass types such as Carnival Glass and lead crystal.
