About Gruenewald Historic House
The Gruenewald Historic House is a house museum in Anderson, Indiana, listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1976. This Italianate / Second Empire style home was built in 1860 and was the residence of local businessman Martin Gruenewald for 50 years. Visitors can tour the historic home, which is decorated with turn of the century furnishings and showcases Victorian architecture and decor. The museum also hosts special events.
