The Waukegan History Museum at the Carnegie explores Waukegan’s history from the last ice age to the 21st century. It is housed in a beautifully restored landmark building. Visitors can see the permanent display of author Ray Bradbury's personal book collection, alongside rotating exhibits and educational programs.
