About Dillon Home Museum
The Dillon Home Museum is an Italianate Architecture home built in 1858 for Civil War Brigadier General Edward Needles Kirk. Washington Dillon purchased the home in 1882. It was later home to P.W. Dillon, President of Northwestern Steel and Wire, and his wife Crete, a collector of eclectic pieces and period furniture. The museum retains all of its original furnishings and belongings, offering visitors a glimpse into local history.
