About Austin Gardens Environmental Education Center
Austin Gardens Environmental Education Center is a LEED Platinum certified facility that opened in 2016. It hosts children’s nature day camps and environmental education programs, featuring sustainable design elements like a geothermal system and a greenroof. The surrounding Austin Gardens offers 3.64 acres with 285 trees, outdoor art installations, and a wildflower woodland habitat. A serpentine perimeter pathway and sprawling green space are also available for visitors.
