About Iowa Raptor Project
The Iowa Raptor Project is an outdoor facility located within the Macbride Nature Recreation Area. It is home to 13 raptors, including a Bald Eagle, an American Barn Owl, and a Peregrine Falcon. Visitors can take self-guided tours to see the birds or arrange private guided tours for an up-close experience. The project also conducts research on raptor migration, populations, and habitat needs.
