About Wagaman Mill Museum
Wagaman Mill was built in 1846 as a paddle wheel saw mill on the North Skunk River. It was converted into a grist mill in 1848 with a wooden dam. A hydraulic turbine added in 1868 allowed for year-long operation, and the mill has produced flour, animal feed, meal, and electric power.
