About Farm House Museum
The Farm House Museum is the oldest building on the Iowa State University campus and a National Historic Landmark originally built in 1860 as part of the Iowa Agricultural College. The museum preserves the history of the original land-grant institution through period furnishings and exhibits documenting the families and students who lived there. Admission is free and the public is welcomed.
