About Currahee Military Museum
The Currahee Military Museum contains extensive information on regiments who trained at Camp Toccoa in WWII. It features the Brenda J. Carlan Hall, which houses a six-stall stable used by soldiers from Company E, 2nd Battalion, 506th PIR, 101st Army Airborne, as seen in HBO’s Band of Brothers. Other exhibits include a 1700s wooden beam from France, D-Day horse and rider models, and the Loden Exhibit Hall recognizing local veterans from each U.S. war.
