About Miami-Dade Military Museum
The Miami-Dade Military Museum & Memorial is nestled on the historic grounds of WWII Naval Air Station Richmond, the nation’s southernmost blimp base. It showcases artifacts donated by South Florida veterans who served from World War II through today’s operations. Visitors can explore immersive exhibits and personal stories that honor active-duty personnel, veterans, and their families. The museum celebrated its Grand Opening on Veterans Day 2023.
