About May-Stringer House
The May-Stringer House, also known as The Heritage Museum, is a four-story, 14-room Queen Anne era home in Brooksville. Its painted lady exterior features decorative spindle work and seven gables. Visitors can explore exhibit rooms with a Victorian look, including themed spaces like a military room, a 1900s doctor’s office, and Victorian bedrooms. The house was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997 and is known as one of Florida's most haunted houses.
