About Nathan Lester House
The Nathan Lester House is a two and a half story wood-frame structure built in 1793, one of Ledyard's few 18th-century houses. It features a central chimney plan with a winding staircase, parlors, and a kitchen with a large fireplace and beehive bake oven. As a museum, it displays a collection of furnishings, textiles, looms, tools, paintings, and vehicles.
