About Tabor Home Museum
The Tabor Home Museum is the historic residence of silver king Horace Tabor and his first wife, Augusta. Built around 1877, the house was moved from its original location to accommodate the Tabor Opera House. The couple resided here until 1881. The museum highlights the life of Augusta Tabor, Leadville’s 'First Lady,' known for her courage and business acumen.
