About Woodside Store
The Woodside Store Historic Site is the Peninsula’s original country store, which supported the area’s lumber industry. Operated by the San Mateo County Historical Association, the site was restored to its 1880s appearance in 1994 and is a State Registered Landmark. Visitors can discover its rich history and see artifacts reflecting its past as a community gathering spot, post office, and bank. The site also hosts Old Woodside Store Day in May, offering activities like sawing wood and making rag dolls.
