About Mendocino County Museum
The Mendocino County Museum collects, conserves, and celebrates the stories, artifacts, and archives of Mendocino County. Visitors can explore exhibits featuring a 10,000-year-old Clovis Point, historic storefronts, 19th-century stagecoaches, a hippie van, and Seabiscuit memorabilia. The museum also presents the Woven Worlds exhibit on Native Peoples and a Veterans Memorial. Additionally, some antique logging and railroad equipment from Roots of Motive Power is stored in the Museum's Engine House.
