About Errea House Museum
The Errea House Museum is the oldest house in Tehachapi, dating to the 1870s, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Visitors can explore its refurbished parlor, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms, and covered porch to see life in rural Tehachapi from the 1900s to 1930s. The house was moved to its current location around 1900 and is named after a Spanish Basque family. An old-fashioned garden on the north side is being restored to reflect the same period.
