About Museum of the Sierra
The Museum of the Sierra was founded in 1991 by the Central Sierra Historical Society. It preserves the cultural and natural history of the Sierra Nevada through education and the curation of historical artifacts and stories. The museum celebrates the Sierra Mountain Range.
