About Harlin P. Wilson Agricultural Museum
The Harlin P. Wilson Agricultural Museum is located adjacent to the Shafter Depot Museum in a big red barn. It features exhibits on the area's agricultural heritage, focusing on cotton and potatoes. Visitors can see early USDA cotton research equipment, cotton picking equipment, a 1937 potato packing shed exhibit, and potato field machinery. The museum also includes a recreated blacksmith shop with original equipment from the Shafter Blacksmith Shop.
