About Museum of American Heritage
The Museum of American Heritage, founded in 1985, is the Bay Area's only museum dedicated to the history of technological innovation before the digital era. Located in the historic Williams House in downtown Palo Alto, it offers a family-friendly environment for exploring technology through unique exhibits. The museum maintains a collection of over 8,000 artifacts and features a main exhibit on technology and American identity during crises, along with special exhibitions on adding machines, cocktails, and hairstyling tools.
