About Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History
The Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History brings history, culture, and art to life through its exhibits, programs, and community science. Visitors can explore an updated native plant garden, learn about Monarchs, and see the Jade Beneath the Sea exhibit. The museum also features exhibitions on the Amazing Adaptations of Birds, the Chinese Fishing Village, Rumsen Ohlone Basketry, and the changing landscapes of Monterey County. The bird exhibit showcases 291 species and 409 mounted birds, including a California condor.
