About Monrovia Historical Museum
The Monrovia Historical Museum is located in an historic 1925 Spanish-style building that once housed the city’s municipal “plunge”. This 8,000 square foot museum features two major wings: Historic Monrovia and Historic Collections. Visitors can explore exhibits on the Monroe family, the Pottenger Sanatorium, a 1907 classroom, Native American artifacts, and telephone technology.
