About Southern Inyo Museum
The NCHS Museum was founded in 1978 by Lucy Lawrence and Martha Haidel, originally known as The Darwin Museum. In 1998, the museum relocated to Lone Pine to ensure the preservation of its valuable artifacts. Visitors can explore the museum's collection of artifacts and exhibits.
