About The Duarte Garage & Lincoln Highway Museum
The Duarte Garage & Lincoln Highway Museum preserves a historic garage built in 1915 by Frank H. Duarte, originally facing the USA's first transcontinental highway. The garage initially sold gasoline and oil, repaired vehicles, and later became a dealership for Durant Star and Flint models. Today, the museum features displays of oil cans and a hand-cranked Star W-4 Engine Block. Visitors can see the historic garage, which includes an authentic Coca Cola sign, and it hosts events featuring antique and classic automobiles.
