Battery Point Lighthouse and its museum are located in Crescent City, California. This active lighthouse, also known as Crescent City Light Station, first lit its oil lamps in 1856. Visitors can take tours to see keepers' personal quarters, view artifacts from the 1850s, and climb into the light tower. The museum also displays maritime artifacts, photographs, and historical documents; visits are possible only at low tide.
