The Borax Visitor Center showcases the history of U.S. Borax's 150-year operations and modern mining innovations. Located on the rim of an active mine in the Mojave Desert, the center features historical and geological exhibits, video presentations, mine overlook views, and replicas from the famous twenty-mule-team era.
