About World War II Japanese American Internment Museum
This museum preserves the history of the Rohwer and Jerome Japanese American relocation centers. Between 1942 and 1945, more than 8,000 Japanese Americans were interned at Rohwer, a 500-acre camp surrounded by barbed wire and armed guards. The museum shares important stories that have been largely lost to history.
