About Gann Museum of Saline County
The Gann Museum of Saline County is located in the 1893 office of Dr. Dewell Gann, Sr. This architectural landmark is the only known bauxite building in existence, constructed from local stone, and features an imprint of Dr. Gann’s foot on an inside wall. The museum houses extensive collections of Niloak pottery, Native American artifacts, and Saline County history, alongside memorabilia from Dr. Gann Sr. and Jr.
