The Kroschel Wildlife Center near Haines features over 15 species of Alaskan wildlife including grizzly bears, wolves, moose, lynx, and snowy owls. Guided tours offer close encounters with animals along 600 yards of groomed trails, with excellent photography opportunities. The center includes a gift shop featuring handmade Alaskan items.
